ZID Theater will open the latest edition of the ExploreZ Festival on mei 16 at 7 pm at the Van Eesteren Museum, culminating in the premiere of the ZID production OXYGEN.
Breathe in the show OXYGEN! Directed by Karolina Spaic, the performance takes you on a theatrical journey of personal stories, about the search for breathing space in a world where nature is increasingly under pressure. In a mix of physical theater, poetry, images and soundscape, you as a spectator witness an interactive ritual. An immersive outdoor experience. Inspired by a.o. The last tree by Luke Adam Hawker and The Book of Hope by Jane Goodall, OXYGEN brings a powerful moment of collective reflection. Connects to poetic visual language OXYGEN the human being again with its source: nature.

The opening of the festival will be introduced by Sandra Doevendans (Councillor for Arts & Culture) and director of ZID Karolina Spaić. In addition to OXYGEN, the opening night will also feature a dance performance by young makers led by the Spanish choreographer. Ángeles Císcar. Don't miss it!
