Opening: Root Emotions

On November 6, 2025, at 5 p.m., the Van Eesteren Museum will open the exhibition Root Emotions.

Root Emotions by Miao Li reveals the hidden networks that connect urban trees to their underground ecosystems. By intertwining city and forest, Li shows how natural and artificial systems interact.

With a mix of plant material and urban remains, hybrid landscapes are created in which the tension and resilience of urban nature are felt. Root Emotions invites us to reconnect with the living world beneath our feet.
